Males can weigh 44 to 46 pounds. Female dogs get as heavy as 42 to 44 pounds. The dog has large dangling ears. The feet is mostly of average length. The tail is of moderate length and hanging low. They have a moderate-sized muzzle. The fur is short.

Colors of this pedegree is normally black and tan.
