Beauceron

Beauceron is a top-notch herding dog. They are a type of pastoral dog often trained in herding.

These dogs can be used as guarddogs. A guard dog is a dog employed to guard against unwanted people or animals.

Beauceron cause less plagues with shedding related to other breeds. The Beauceron's demands vastly little brushing.

The breed requires vastly much of endurance training.

Place of origin: the dog breed was propagated from France. Even so, they are rarely present at Paris dog shows.

Beauceron group: Beauceron is included in the Federation Cynologique Internationale catalog. The breed is recognized in the section «Sheepdogs» (1.1) in the group «Sheepdogs and Cattle Dogs». Federation Cynologique Internationale i.d. for beauceron is 44 and was added to the catalog 2006-10-25. American Kennel Club groups the breed as «Herding Dogs». United Kennel Club approves the breed as «Herding Dogs» in their catalog.

The Beauceron's appearance:Beaucerons are mostly large. Males reach a hight of 24 to 28 inches tall. Female dogs reach a hight of 24 to 27 inches tall. Males get as heavy as 90 to 100 pounds. Female dogs grow up to 80 to 90 pounds. The dog has large upstanding ears. The legs is mostly relatively long. The of moderate length tail is hanging low. They have a moderate-sized muzzle. The fur is of medium length.

Colors of this pedegree is normally black-and-tan, or harlequin with patches of gray.

Supplementary info about the dog: Predictable age for a beauceron is 10 to 12 years. The breed is normally not tough to obtain for sale in local newspapers. The beauceron were originally bred for boar herding, guarding and hunting. Supplementary names for the breed is Berger de Beauce.
