Corgi

There are two sub-breeds of the corgi: cardigan Welsh Corgi and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi

Can be a bit dog aggressive.

This breed may bark, but generally not excessively. They are extremely adapt to live in an apartment.

First bred in: the breed was brougth forth in Wales.

Health problems in the Corgi: Corgi is a dog breed which is sometimes handicapped by hip dysplasia. Hip dysplasia syndrome is a polygenic trait. This the breed are often sometimes handicapped by a syndrome called Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA). The result is blindness in the dog. The PRA syndrome is always causing progressive vision loss and eventually blindness. Many Corgi's will get eye problems or eye syndrome.

The Corgi's shape:Corgis are frequently minuscule. Males will get 10 to 13 inches tall. Female dogs reach a hight of 10 to 13 inches tall. Males will weigh 25 to 30 pounds. Female dogs grow up to 25 to 30 pounds. The dog has colossal elevated ears. The Little tail is hanging low. They have a median-sized muzzle. The fur is of medium length.

Colors of this dog breed is generally brindle, blue merle, black, black & tan, black & brindle, sable, and red, and typically with white markings.

Additional info about the dog: Predictable age for a corgi is 12 to 15 years. The breed is comparatively beloved and generally simple to discover for sale in the market. Additional names for the breed is Welsh Corgi.
