Our Myrtle

Myrtle is a gray, white catahoula with black speckles and yellow eyes. What an amazing dog! Every Catahoula I have owned were well above average in intelligence. You really need to be well ahead of the game before you are owned by one of these animals. (own her own) Myrtle has learned to open doors, close doors etc. She is an avid hunter, very protective of our children, an aggravator of other dogs. She tends to cling to the Alpha of the house and pretty much ignores instruction from others. She is in my opinion, THE example of the Catahoula Leopard Dog.
