Samoyed

United Kennel Club involves the breed as «Northern Breed» in their register. Canadian Kennel Club categorizes the breed as «Working dogs».

Health issues in the Samoyed: Sadly, some may obtain tough health issues. Samoyed is a breed which is suffering from hip dysplasia. Hip dysplasia in canines can eventually crippling lameness and painful arthritis of the joints. This the breed are often suffering from a disorder called Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA).
