Shikoku

Shikoku is a northern breed. They have been selectively bred for a wide variety of qualities.

The dog breeds may be a bit reserved, aloof and wary of guests. Can be a bit dog aggressive.

Source: this dog was refined in Japan. However, they are not a common sigth in Tokyo.

Shikoku group: Shikoku is admitted in the World Canine Organisation register. The breed is included in the section «Asian Spitz and related breeds» (5.5) in the group «Spitz and Primitive types». World Canine Organisation identification for shikoku is 319 and was added to the register 1995-06-05. United Kennel Club recognizes the breed as «Northern Breed» in their register. Canadian Kennel Club categorizes the breed as «Hounds».

The dog breeds physical characteristics: Shikoku looks somewhat resembling the physical characteristics of a wolf.
